Sea Teacher Batch 5

Tuesday, January 23 rd 2018 The third day in Thailand. Today, the first time I was going to observe. I was really excited. When I arrived at the school, the teachers gave me warming welcome.   The students are very polite. They greeted me “Sa wad dee kah”.   I was confuse d when I saw the students held a flag ceremony on that day. Evidently, Monday until Friday they hold the flag ceremony. After holding the flag ceremony, a teacher   asked us to introduce ourselves. When I introduced myself using English, the students didn ’ t   what I was talking about so their teacher translated to Thai language. After that I was introduced to a woman and I had the same room with her. At 09.10 a.m. I went to a classroom. The classroom was at the third floor. Monday, January 22 nd   2018 The second day in Thailand. Early morning, I took a bath and prepared my luggage. The buddies picked me up to go to the building to meet President of VRU and I brought my luggage, because both my friend and I moved to the other dormitory.   This was due to schools that are far from the campus .   I enjoyed   the trip   go ing to the building, because   the view in VRU is beautiful. We met   president of VRU, coordinator of VRU, students of VRU, and students who joined the Sea Teacher’s Program Batch 5. When t he meeting had already finished, we went to take the other students to the schools where they were going to teach   and to the airport to pick up the student s who joined the program. Sunday, January  21 st  2018 The day comes. My journey will be starting. I really anxious, because it is the first time I go abroad. Of course my flight is without my parents. My family took me up to go the airport. I departed from my house at about 6 a.m. and I arrived at the International  Airport of Minangkabau at about 6.15 a.m.  I met my friends Sinta and Sisil. They are from State University of Padang too. We were checking to flight. Sinta and Sisil helped me to bring my bag. Because I brought so many bag. I made them troublesome. I would like to say thanks to them.  Before boarding the plane, we might go to immigration for checking our passport. Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. This is my first blog. The contents of my blog are my experiences in Thailand. I hope you will be curious about my experiences during one month in Thailand. I almost forget to introduce my self. Okay, I would like to introduce my self. I’m Cania Kastira. Everybody calls me Cania or Nia or Can or Ncit. So, up to you what you want to call me. I’m the first child with one brother. I live in West Sumatera, Indonesia. I’m still studying at State University of Padang. My major is Mathematics Education. I’m in the 4 th year now.
